Who cares about safe, that was awesome.

And it looks like he built a  really simple propane rocket.

Propane from the tank on the car is injected in to the chamber in the middle of the bottom secion of the tube, since the propane is sprayed out the back a vacuum is created on the low pressure side, so air is drawn in from the top tube, and then expelled out the shaped cone on the bottom. That's just my guess.

Sounds/looks like a pulse jet engine...       remember the V1?

Having 50lbs of propane that close to the goods is not my idea of a good time....

those propane canisters are pretty much bomb proof these days.

the buttmake the beast with two backss at the columbine massacre tried to detonate them and couldn't.  the valve has a safety cutoff inside and the skin of the canister is absurdly strong -- i've seen 50 bmg rounds go thru them but nothing less.

very slick video though!  me likey!

alfisti beat me to it... it's definitely a pulse-jet.  As soon as I heard the sound I thought of the V1.

My 1st thought was a messed up ramjet - but yeah it's a reconstituted buzz-bomb engine.

Man my neighbors would be totally pissed if I bought one of those. So is that basically a giant propane powered saxophone?
