Priced for quick sale Ill let the pictures speak for themselves, Bike is also featured on: DUCCUTTERS.COM Please call Brent @704-953-9037 " Pictures of it in the ad. Title: Re: Hunchback Post by: needtorque on February 06, 2009, 06:46:15 PM I guess this class of bike could be named "Sport Bobber". More appropriate would be the "back breaker" though.
Title: Re: Hunchback Post by: eichh on February 07, 2009, 05:17:48 AM I would call it the "don't run into anything or you'll smash your balls" bobber. It looks cool though just not comfortable.
Title: Re: Hunchback Post by: Mike_D on February 07, 2009, 05:54:47 AM Doesn't do anything for me, sorry. With the rear shock almost horizontal and forward like that, I bet it rides like a buckboard.
Title: Re: Hunchback Post by: RodeoClown on February 07, 2009, 07:25:37 AM I would call it the "don't run into anything or you'll smash your balls" bobber. It looks cool though just not comfortable. [laugh] I was thinking the same thing. That being said I would love to take it for a spin. Title: Re: Hunchback Post by: erkishhorde on February 07, 2009, 11:29:29 AM I dunno... doesn't like it handles all that well. Also kinda looks like he's taking a shit. Cool design but I don't like.
Title: Re: Hunchback Post by: Hans Hergesheimer on February 08, 2009, 09:03:03 AM For whatever reason, that riding position reminds me of the choppers in grand theft auto. I don't see how that would be comfortable, but maybe it's not as bad as it looks?
Title: Re: Hunchback Post by: Monsterlover on February 09, 2009, 12:15:46 PM Looks like their custom exhaust consists of them removing the exhaust and leaving the head pipe open.
Id be embarrassed to be seen on it because of that alone. Slackers. Title: Re: Hunchback Post by: corey on February 09, 2009, 02:02:05 PM I don't knock other peoples custom work. This bike is, well, interesting i guess.
My only thought is, a custom ducati bobber for $2500 seems a little low. It makes me wonder if this was like a failed project to them, that has some inherint flaws that are unnoticeable until riding the thing... Some that could be safety issues even.. Title: Re: Hunchback Post by: Holden on February 09, 2009, 03:47:39 PM I don't knock other peoples custom work. I think the fact that they're trying to make a profit on it gives you the right to knock it. [cheeky] Title: Re: Hunchback Post by: Monsterlover on February 09, 2009, 04:17:15 PM My point was they put work into the frame, and other bits, but they took off the exhaust and what?
Forgot to build another one? Who builds a cool bike and just leaves the header to take on the roll of the entire exhaust system? Title: Re: Hunchback Post by: IZ on February 09, 2009, 04:26:22 PM I like it..but no way would I be driving the amount of miles on that bike that I do on my current one. My back is hurting already! It is pretty cool though!! [thumbsup]
Title: Re: Hunchback Post by: Pedro-bot on February 09, 2009, 09:01:29 PM YEAH!!! Bring back that old Inquisition favorite!!! The Stock everyone! [laugh]
Hell no. That shit looks painful. [laugh] (http://www.geocities.com/westhollywood/heights/9417/georgia1937.jpg) Title: Re: Hunchback Post by: RodeoClown on February 10, 2009, 07:53:51 AM Its all for show. This is not about comfort [evil] Its all about bustin balz and backs ;D
Title: Re: Hunchback Post by: mummawmetalworks on June 18, 2009, 03:53:10 PM Doesn't do anything for me, sorry. With the rear shock almost horizontal and forward like that, I bet it rides like a buckboard. I would figure that you would know that the shock position was actually untouched and that is exactly how it is on the stock 900ss so in fact it rides as good as factory. But thanks for the nice and bad comments it will help me to build a better one. It is not all that comfy but I have ridden it about 30 miles at a time and its not as bad as you thinK, The exhaust is still all stock sorry to dissapoint but this bike was built on a budget. i still have the bike so if anyone is near charlotte nc feel free to hit me up and come take it for a spin. Its FOR SALE thanks Title: Re: Hunchback Post by: A.duc.H.duc. on June 18, 2009, 04:45:45 PM Looks really uncomfortable, but I think it's really cool. Over all I like it.
Title: Re: Hunchback Post by: herm on June 18, 2009, 05:44:13 PM i like it more than anything OCC is making [thumbsup]
Title: Re: Hunchback Post by: dezoe on June 19, 2009, 06:39:55 AM A bit extreme riding position, but It looks good. Best looking SS-to-naked conversion I've seen (usually looks like Monsters beaten w. ugly sticks..)
Title: Re: Hunchback Post by: ArcDeDucati on June 19, 2009, 06:45:04 AM That shit looks like it would absolutely kill my balls...
