Post by: brimo on February 09, 2009, 12:13:30 PM I remember in th olden days when polycarbonate lids first appeared it was a real concern as the relatively soft skin on the helmet gripped the asphalt when you landed instead of sliding, apparently caused quite a few "rotational" injuries.
