Title: Vanity Plates Post by: brickdogg on February 11, 2009, 05:30:29 PM So I was thinking of getting vanity plates for my car when I get my bike and I had a couple ideas but I wanted to see if anyone out here had some creative or interesting vanity plates for their bike or car.
I was thinking DUCMAN or DUCGUY.... Not very creative, just a thought, will probably not end up getting one, but could still make for an interesting thread. Or if you saw someone else with a clever one throw it up here, for instance, my neighbor, on his huge lifted truck has "URAH8R" Title: Re: Vanity Plates Post by: BastrdHK on February 11, 2009, 06:12:06 PM I always liked DUC IT, DUC U(you get the jist), DUCTHIS, FASTDUC, QUIKDUC....depends on the guy and the bike though 8)

Title: Re: Vanity Plates Post by: ScottRNelson on February 12, 2009, 06:02:32 AM I don't understand the mentality behind having a plate implying how fast you are. Think about your chances of getting a warning when stopped for speeding if you have a plate like 2FAST4U. I prefer the other extreme to get the cop thinking about why he should let me off.
I'm still waiting for THUMMPA from the DMV to put on my XR650L which will be parked right next to GRAMMPA (my ST2). It seemed like the obvious plate to get. Since I've just been informed that I will have twelve grandchildren by the end of this year, the rest of my plates should make sense: (http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c67/scottrnelson/Ducati/SBKPipes.jpg) Title: Re: Vanity Plates Post by: DesmoDiva on February 12, 2009, 06:25:47 AM We have:

People always mistook MNSTR1 for minstrel and menstrual, so wasn't too sad about the switch. [laugh] Kept the same vet's plate on the new Daytona. I get pulled over a lot less now. I'd like to have a custom plate on my bikes but nothing clever enough to be on a plate has come to mind. I've seen a few good ones on cars. I once was going to get FAST51 for my Hayden Rep RC51 but someone already had it.
