Title: "exhausting" questions... Post by: wantingaduc on February 12, 2009, 12:03:41 PM I’m considering some exhaust options on my ‘06 620 monster dark.
First off is to core the stock cans, next would be a DP Termi Ti low mount slip-ons, and lastly DP Termi carbon high mount slip-ons. I’m leaning toward coring the stock cans, primarily because of the cost of the DP slip-ons. Add to that the fact that living in the metro NY area, which is considering a new law on loud exhaust and needing to have the DOT-EPA stamp on the exhaust, stock cored cans would meet this criteria. My primary question is on a scale of 1-10 how loud are each option? Next would be the overall quality of DP Ti vs. carbon, and lastly weight of one option vs. any of the others. Any feedback anyone can offer would be great. jimi Title: Re: "exhausting" questions... The quality of the sound will be different.. but how low is on par.

If the bill goes through in NYC those pipes will not be road legal in NYC even though they are within the decibel limit. Any exhaust without the EPA stamping will be considered a straight pipe, and illegal Title: Re: "exhausting" questions... Any exhaust without the EPA stamping will be considered a straight pipe, and illegal TI cans are EPA stanped. SS and CF are not. |
