Title: Question about Pitbull front stand
Post by: JTMOTO on February 13, 2009, 03:14:57 PM
I just purchased the front stand that lifts from the steering stem, and I cant seem to get it in there without  [bang] hitting the fender.  Anyone out there have any tips for me.  It doesn't seem like you should have to remove the fender to use this, but that is all I can come up with.  I had the same stand once before on my 749, and it was tight, but I could angle it in there without removing the fender.   ???

What bike?

What pin#?

Pin angled correctly?

My under triple New Front stand came with the wrong pin, so they sent me a different pin that was easier to use and allowed a better angle of attack. If I recall correctly their chart and ordering page contradicted one another. With the proper pin and technique you should not need to remove the front fender (at least I don't need to on my bikes).

PS:  Pitbull is really great with customer service should you need that.

+1  They have unbelievable customer service.  I look forward to trying out their new trailer restraint system.
