Have been meaning to pick up a new dirt bike for my daughter for the past month but time just gets away from me every time I get ready to go pick one up. So I call a local dealer today to verify they have the bike I want in stock and he tells me he can't sell them due to a new ban that went into effect last week. I guess there is lead traces in the bikes so they can't sell them. Very strange.
I should have bought it last weekend! Dooh!

You make it sound like I'm a bad parent. I have a picture of her at work on a bike mid-air. People see it and look at me like I'm out of my mind for letting a girl ride a dirt bike. I guess they thought I was a bad parent because of the lead! [cheeky]
Here are a few links if anyone wants to get "involved"! Remember, your efforts will help my child get a new bike! [bow_down]

There was a thread about this in the GMF. Something about a net ban on anything that has lead in it and is marketed towards children. I remember the line, "Don't let your kid eat his CB50" or something along those lines. [roll]
