I was disappointed there was not Streetfighter on display. I am still wanting to see one in person because I don't think the pics on the Internet do it justice.
The Roland Sands motard is really cool. The new 1100 motard look like a nice ride too.
On a non-Ducati note, the Suzuki Galdius looked interesting. The wtf? award went to the Victory Core concept. I wonder what that will turn into, because the last time they had a strange looking concept it turned into something that looks like it should hover (the Vision for those who have not seen it.)
I am now sure that I want to replace the stock mirrors on my 696 and change out a couple of the stock pieces for cf pieces. I am still on the fence about removing the mini-fairing deal over the gagues. Really getting the itch to ride...c'mon spring!!! [moto]
This year was a real let down from all manufacturers except KTM. I've been waiting about seven years to see the RC8 and it was there! At least you guys have a new bike show, here in St. Louis all we got is the "custom" bike show hosted by Wide Open Magazine, translation- bunch of chromed out Harleys.
The RC8 was indeed a sweet sight. I love that bike, but the non-CF ones look kinda cheap :/ The matte finish of the body work makes it look like cheap plastic rather than expensive-as-make the beast with two backs fiberglass.
They had a streetfighter at the show i went to in D.C.
They had EVERYTHING in the Duc booth. Even the new 1198 special edition bike.
