Its a fluid reservoir that directly mounts to the rear brake master cylinder.

I think its weight, but how much weight does that really save? That guy is the king of the weight weenies. His builds are incredible. Check out his Desmo RR build - custom CF everything (he makes his own molds and lays the CF himself), lots of other custom parts.

That looks amazing. I don't even want to guess on the cost though :o
His 999V2 is amazing
It looks cool?
I saw that and thought it looked cool but wondered at the reliability of the rear brakes using that. That reservoir looks like it isn't even half the size of the OEM reservoir.

I used something similar on the rear master for my motard... the rear brake lost all pressure in about 3 days..I don't know where it went [laugh]...boiled away maybe? I would not run this on anything but a show bike...
I have to admit mine wasn't as cool looking as this is though :)
Pah! I've had a set up like that on my nc30 trackbike for years so its certainly not unique or new.
Just seal a length of brake hose with a bolt and your sorted. [thumbsup]
Wouldn't run a roadbike like that though,or would have to check it everyday if you did.
