The web sites that are posting this story as being true are very interesting. When I say interesting I mean scary.
infowars.com
survivalistboards.com
prisonplanet.com
godlikeproductions.com
Even so, I've always turned around the clock radios whenever I stay in hotels.

I don't think they pay agents enough money to watch most of the people I've seen in walmart in their home environment.

Speaking strictly of the over the air converter boxes...
What good would a spy camera do when it has no way to send the pictures anywhere?
It's only a receiver. Even if it's a transmitter how can it send a signal back through the rabbit ears to somewhere where "someone" is watching?
Hooey.

that was in the 1940's think of what they could do today. They don't have to watch the cameras all the time. only, lets say during a news event, when the TV is set to that chanel and just watch a sample.
But, I don't really think theres cameras in them (I'll be pretty damn surprised and freaked out if there is) but conspiracy theory's are kinda hillarious to read..I mean, if they have cameras, the only purpose could be to video tape our reactions to being told were gonna be sent to FEMA camps. [laugh]
Same BS as back in the 70's when particular brands of staplers were supposed to have microphones in them, although with technology today the possibility is a bit more realistic. With a cable unit it would be very easy to have a shielded camera that could send a signal back over the cable line, but a simple digital converter is a BIG stretch. I heard one "reliable" report that the new LCD tv's were prime targets for having a single pixel replaced by a fiber optic camera that, when connected to cable or satellite, would transmit video. I'm not a big fan of the LCD's yet anyway... [leo] [leo] [leo]

Damn.
"They" must've gotten to the guy that made the video.
Now he too is working for "them". :-\
What's funny is that the day it showed up on all those conspiracy websites, it was already debunked by Yahoo, Wired, Slashdot, etc.
But none of them bothered to do a fact check.
I demand a modicum of responsibility from my tin-foil wearing freaks.
