I have an interview for a position selling to science and mathematics professors and have no publishing or publishing interview experience.
I have a fair amount of experience selling to architects and engineers, so that's the mindset I'm going to aim for. I didn't think my typical "over-the-top" sales interview style would be sophisticated enough.
Any insights, experience, opinions?
Thanks in advance.
offer kickbacks....er I mean educational grants
Besides the quality of the text what I looked for is service, in other words, desk copies and other freebies as well as frequent visits telling us what is available with copies for review in hand. Oh, listen and help, rather than trying to sell.
