It sounds good but looks out of place, maybe its the decals.

I don't like the Termi decals...

on anything.

It's smart for Termi to enter this market I think.

Considering the amount of cruiser goods in my latest Dennis Kirk catalog, it's a smart move indeed dp ~

Sounds good, if you ask me.

Now if only I didn't have to look at it...

I think it sounds good, and looks good too.  Anyone know -  is that Termi setup specifically designed for installation on an XR1200?  Or is it just an owner's adaptation of an existing Termi exhaust?

I certainly don't blame Termignoni for wanting to sell exhausts for cruisers / H-D.  Lots of market potential there.

From an appearance standpoint, the Storz setup is still my favorite Sportster exhaust.  Have never heard one run, though, so I don't know how they sound.

It is specific for the XR1200, released in July 2008 (http://hellforleathermagazine.com/2008/07/details-harleydavidson-xr1200.html).

Remember the XR has been on the market for a couple years in Europe.  H-D never intended to release this bike in the US, but changed their mind when dealers reported a strong US rider interest in the bike.

What this really makes me want is a flat-track duc.

Honestly? I think it sounds pretty freakin' good  [thumbsup]

It's still about 150 pounds too heavy, but I like the look and sound.

NICE HD! That is a fine specimen!

Not that I suffer from H.H.S. but I don't like the way the Termis look on that bike - they don't flow welll but it does sound pretty awesome.

It's a good bike, but I looked at the tag on one at the MC show this weekend in Greenville, SC and  DRY .......DRY weight was listed at 562 lbs.

Great looking bike, but what the hell do they make em out of ...... lead?

This one is the best sounding Harley's I've heard though.

I like it but I have a sickness, an addiction to motorcycles. I like the other one in that pic too. I'd take it in black.

Daddy Likey!  The XR's look really good in person.  I wouldn't replace my Monster with it, but I sure would park them side by side.
I think the Termi stickers take away from the look a little.  I am a little suprised that Harley didn't pay Termi off to put the HD logo on the cans and jack the price up a little more.  I am curious to see what the Vance&Hines will sound like.  That is what the Harley dealers were raving about (go figure)!

sorry but i hate that new harley, and termis on it make me a little  [puke]

I'm pretty sure the only HD's i like are the Iron 883 and the Nightster. Those are not your dads Harleys!

This XR or whatever reminds me of what i saw back in the day, rusted in about 2 feet of grass, behind a hillbilly house.

sorry, IMOP.

but hey, there's a bike for everyone right?

We all love being on two wheels.... [moto]

The Termis sound good but look out of place.

The new Harley looks like something sold at Pep Boys compared to the older models.   :-\
