Title: Portland blasting recommendation please Post by: cloud2blue on February 23, 2009, 01:42:12 PM So I got a tank for next to nothing and it has a couple dents in it. One appears to have bondo in it and after SaltLick's experience I want to get everything off so I can see what's what. And as far as I know the best way to get every last bit off, is to have it blasted. Rather than throw a dart at the yellow pages, I figured I would ask if anyone here has had any experiences with local shops. Good, bad, expensive or cheap; I'll take all the info I can get.
Thanks. Title: Re: Portland blasting recommendation please Post by: Mother on February 23, 2009, 03:05:55 PM Aircraft paint remover
spread it on let sit drink a beer and the paint, including bondo, falls right off Neutralized with water and way cheaper than a media blaster...unless you have a plastic tank Title: Re: Portland blasting recommendation please Post by: Tailgunner on February 23, 2009, 04:03:36 PM You should call this guy to discuss what he can do.
