Title: Advice sought: Is this eBay Monster sale a good price? Ends soon, ready to bid.
Post by: abzdc on February 24, 2009, 06:54:12 PM
ebay Item number: 200311682754

Is it a good offer? Only a 4 hour drive for me and would be nice to ride her back to DC this weekend (albeit cold).

Thanks

Seems a touch high for 21k and no red key.  I bought my '02 620 last year for under $3k, had under 4000 miles on it at the time. . .

As a general rule, if the bike originally came with a Red key and it's missing - walk away.  IF something should happen that you need that Red key and don't have it, it's well over a grand for just the parts you need to get the bike going again.  IF the immobilizer activates, you'd need to replace the ECU, Dash and locks - not good times.

+1 on this. Plus the bike has "developed a small oil leak"? Hmmmm.
