and support the school of engineering. till i saw the designed and almost pissed my pants. the logo on the shirt is pretty much whats shown below, and the quote is "ideas for tomorrow" or something to that effect. [laugh][laugh] [laugh]

Kids in school do that a lot. Stealing ideas that is. [roll] The kids in the Week of Welcome group at Cal Poly SLO always knock off someone else's slogan or logo and never come up with something entirely original. Still, why would you wanna knock off the buss logo... [roll]
proving that really working "together" really doesnt get any work done.

...and just usually results in a bunch of broken teeth.
someone messed that one up... big time.

That's why advertising students shouldn't be doing stuff for the engineering ones.
i had a "MBA for scientists" class which used something similar as a logo. apparently no one had
ever told them what was wrong with it. the instructor was also fond of the expression "nature abhors
a vacuum" which i pointed out was strange since only a vanishingly small volume of the universe is NOT
a vacuum.
[laugh] [clap]
are you sure they didn't subconsciously do that?
I've seen parodies, but why echo someone else's logos (without the funny)?
that's just stupid.
suggestion "Smart is as smart does"
Reminds me of this, which was extra-good since Adobe stuff pisses me off. The slogan was the kicker.

...that's the least of the worries.
The whole point is that three gears with their teeth locked together won't turn. (Look at the very top portion of the last graphic posted.)

Maybe it would be time.
