Colemans sent me an email a few days ago, they're having a party to herald the first race of the season at their Falls Church location. Supposedly starts at 6;30, although their website says 7;00. Free food, drinks, door prizes, and a 12' widescreen to watch the race on.
Since I'm up here in the D.C. area, I'm going to give it a shot, and hope I'm not the only one there in a Ducati shirt.
I was hoping to have my duc back from their Woodbridge store tomorrow and was gonna head up to watch the race. but they called today and said italy sent the wrong part and it will be at least another week [bang]
I hope to get it back soon as i keep ordering more parts and my wife is gonna kill me. This cold weather is really getting to me. Enjoy the race sorry i can not join in the festivities.
I'll be there, too. The last time I was there for free food (Ducati fashion show) it was pretty good. I don't have a Ducati shirt though, so you may be the only one.
Update: well, I went. There was a dozen or so bikes when I was there, including a '72 Norton Commando...very nice. I was the guy with the 'got meth?' t-shirt on. Had some cold pizza, watched a little TV, then split. it was too nice a night not to be out riding.
Yeah, I talked to the guy with the Norton. It was an ebay find gone wrong. It looked good in the photos, but when he got it, it was a dog. He says he'll have to keep it til he dies, as he's got more in it than he'll ever get out of it. Was that your red Monster? I stayed til @ 10. I was the one in the red Duc shirt drooling over the 06 999 they had for sale.

Unless there were more than one the white 696 was me. I stuck around long enough for a piece of pizza and to register for the drawings - like you said, it was too nice out to be inside. :)

No, I drove there. I'm currently 200 miles away from my bike, and won't get back to it 'til the weather goes back to the 30's. [bang] [bang]
After you two left, another monster, and a 748 came in, along with a BMW and an R1(I think). I was just glad to get out and be around bike folks for a while.
I was there with Agent TAD. It was pretty cool. Tazima won a freaking tee shirt. They were also offering 15% off on some goodies. So Taz picked up a shield. We drove in so no ducs for us that day. We enjoyed the event . DC
