Title: Front wheel torque
Post by: kawazar on March 05, 2009, 05:33:06 PM
Can anyone give me the front wheel nut torque (I believe its 45 lb/ft) and the torque for the 2 bolts on the bottom of the forks? Thanks!

The pinch bolts - it's about 15 Nm.. It's really not much, and def not 45ft/lb.  That 45 is more like that axle nut torque which is 63 Nm for my bike, an '00 900  which I think has the same front axle as yours.

Sorry for not having the right terminology, the axle nut was on a previous post for 45 ft/lb, I found that one. The pinch bolts (couldn't figure out what to call them) thats the one I couldn't find. Thanks guys!!
