hey thanks - the manual is all there. took me about 1 minute to get downloaded but i am on high speed ADSL.

Not free, but less than $5. The quality is great and the download is reliable. This is where I downloaded mine from.
AFAIK, there is only 1 S2R1K manual, regardless of year.

PM me and i am 99% sure that i have the S2r1000 manual sitting on my desktop at home if you (or anyone else) still needs it. I found it online, free somewhere, but can't remember where.
i guess no one understands when i said its in the FAQ ready to be downloaded.
