What year Falcon did you have? I was looking for a Falcon before I got the Duc. I don't have the garage space for one now.

1962 2-door coupe.  Former 144cid/3-speed car.  Transplanted a '92 F150 5.0 engine into it with a T5 tranny and a 3.00:1 geared 8" axle.  Converted the front end to discs, car had 14" Magnum 500's on it.  Re-painted Wimbeldon White (originally Red), Black interior, California Black-plate car.  MANUAL EVERYTHING (just how I like it!  ;D ).  25mpg on the high-way if you were easy on it!  Yeah-baby...  8)

Was going through a separation, so I sold it to 'Mr. Incredible' here on the DMF.  He enjoys it now.

Wow - that sounds awesome. I was trying to find a falcon that needed SOME work, but not more than I could handle. I ended up finding a dodge dart in my price range/ability level, but then the motorcycle filled the void.

Elanor there is pretty sweet. I used to know someone with a GT500. Not sure if he still has it; he restored Mustangs as a hobby, and that was his personal toy.

Don't you mean an old car project?!?  ;)  And yes, I agree....except that I have no where to build it and no $$$ with which to build it.  Although, I do know where 2 old Rambler coupes and a '35 Ford p/u are!  [evil]  I could see the p/u as a driver w/an SBF in it and an AOD.

The Rambler?!?  GASSER-MADNESS BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HA!

Pretty sure most of those pics were taken in Lake Park, MN... about 35 miles from me.  I drive thru there when i go to visit my parents.  In the summer there is an old restaurant there that has the parking lot full of classics all the time.

Lots of really interesting stuff.  Even a few Ducs.

Somewhere on there is my old '69 Camaro big-block car... but too many pics to go searching for it.

While I love the old hot rods and classics, this polished aluminum GT500 looks great:

It hasn't moved much since that redwood branch fell on it.

It gets a bit straightened out once the garage is all set. Assuming I ever get a day off.

I don't own a camera.

It's fine-old fords are tough.

I suspect the sheet metal is all extra thick, which is why they can't keep up with a mopar  ;D
