Title: importing M400 into the US?
Post by: itsy on March 09, 2009, 12:46:06 AM
does anyone know if its possible to import a 2008 M400 from Japan and register it for use on the streets?  I have seen another M400 on ebay, so hoping its possible.

Thanks

Buy an M800 and pull a plug wire.  Problem solved.

If it were me (and you have the option to do this), I would NOT try to bring it into California.  I imagine the laws for importing a non-US spec vehicle are more lenient in any of the other 49 states.

Talk with your local DMV office (although you will likely have to ask everyone there and won't come up with much, but it will give you a place to start).
