I think it's orange like the outside, but the flashed from the camera makes it look yellowish.

Never cared for the open top versions. I'd rather have the LP670-4 SV. Closed top, much less weight (HUGE PET PEEVE - still needs a diet), more power, and can be had with a proper manual instead of the stupid paddle/button/whatever crap (another peeve).
