Title: 2nd Annual BreatheEasyRide Against Cystic Fibrosis - Sun March 29th Post by: CharliesAngel on March 18, 2009, 03:56:33 PM I met one of Sponsors for the above and thought I would share with you the motorcycle ride that is being organized to fight cystic fibrosis on Sunday, March 29th.
The original Breathe Easy Ride Against Cystic Fibrosis, which takes place in Southern California, was inaugurated in 2008 by American Motorcycle Association Hall-of-Fame motocross champion, Broc Glvoer, shortly after his 6-year-old son, Dayne, was diagnosed with the cruel and life-shortening disease. The event brings together motorcyclist, including many of the ports most recognized names, in a ride of solidarity for those who suffer from cystic fibrosis (CF). Beginning this years a Bay Area Satellite Ride is being held in conjunction with the original Breathe Easy Ride Against CF. This year's Bay Area ride will take place on the same day as the So Cal ride and will start from Motostrano in Redwood City. 100% of all proceeds from this ride will go to the CF Foundation, a Charity Navigator's 4-Star rated non-profit to support their on-going mission to find a cure and contgrol for CF.
