Title: Help: compatibility question with s2r and s4rs front end.
Post by: swift. on March 18, 2009, 09:54:35 PM
Question for you gurus.  I picked up a front end from an s4rs (ohlins forks, axle and brembo calipers).  My s2r stock wheel fits fine, but will i need different rotors due to offset issues?  Do i need an s4rs wheel?  I am using my wheel with braketech 320mm rotors but i specified s2r specs when ordered rotors.  Can someone enlighten me?

S2R800 or S2R1000?

What year?

Is there a part number for the rotors you ordered?

06 s2r 800.  From what i can gather s4rs has a 15mm offset rotor where s2r has a 10mm offset.  I hope its as simple as just spacing rotors by 5mm.  Heres to hoping?

Doesn't the S4Rs also use 5 bolt rotors a la 999?

**correction..  DP is right, I was looking at an S4R... same 5-bolt rotors as 749/999
