Title: Lazareth bike for sale
Post by: Travman on March 19, 2009, 07:15:26 PM
Today I saw this customized SS1000 by Lazareth on consignment at my local dealership (DucPond, Winchester, VA).  The workmanship was awesome.  I loved the custom made triples & belt covers.  The carbon fiber was the best I'd ever seen with very thick clear coat.  The bike looked so small next to a 1098.

Hmmm, I appreciate the workmanship, but the bike doesn't flow, you know what i mean?  All the parts don't seem to go together...it looks kinda awkward...

Lazareth makes that headlight in house.

You should check out their site http://www.lazareth.org/, (http://www.lazareth.org/,) they build some amazing things. They actually made a copy of that cool Honda concept bike from a few years ago, with the SS swing arm and SS fork.

Also the bikes in Babylon A.D. (movie) are theirs.

It looks better on their website.  Maybe it is just a bad angle  ???

this bike is sick.

i'd love to ride it.

not everyone can have their weekend hobby as their fulltime job. doesn't make them a highschool dropout, and i'd venture to say that all of them are fairly intelligent.
most of those people are also man enough not to use a 5pt font when they have something shitty to say.

OK, some of you guys (Mr. I) know I don't like the cruiser custom scene.

But oops! after re-reading that it sounds like I was talking about the people on this forum...
Sorry that was not what I meant!

I think the bikes built and customized on this forum and others like it are fantastic and I don't question anybody's education level!

If I could remove what I said I would but it's too late  [beer]

So er, what did you mean? Were you referring to the american choppers and harleys? Which while maybe not a nice thing to say, at least sounds a helluve lot better than calling the board members a bunch o' tards.

Yep, that's where I was going, not exactly PC but I can't help my disdain for the segment.

The headlight does look similar to the Yamaha MT-01, but I could see it was custom made.  The double headlight ring looked to be cut out by the technique that created the belt covers.  Also the headlight shell is made of the same carbon fiber found elsewhere on the bike.   Definitely the outside was made by Lazareth, not sure of the insides.

Glad you guys understand each other now.  I thought you were referring to OCC and was surprised to see a couple of annoyed posts.  I thought they must have really liked OCC.
