Looks like it is official.
The Portland Timbers are now a MLS team and the new stadium is getting built.
We need to score tickets

we were discussing the vancouver, portland, seattle rivalries on bigsoccer. we decided that the local competition should be referred to as the flannel cup. ;D
Cool, glad you have a team now. JBub, was soccer your collegiate sport?

Nah, I think he is still alive.
I have played since I was 3 years old but due to numerous injuries, I haven't played in about 5 years.
I am just shocked the MLS is still around and expanding...........

I was on the olympic development roster in high school but tore up my knee and hip real bad and had to stop that. I was recruited for Division 1 schools but would have had to go through surgery and rehab before I'd be able to play. So I just played club soccer in college. And subsequently broke my leg.
