we were discussing the vancouver, portland, seattle rivalries on bigsoccer. we decided that the local competition should be referred to as the flannel cup. ;D

Nah, I think he is still alive.

I have played since I was 3 years old but due to numerous injuries, I haven't played in about 5 years.

I am just shocked the MLS is still around and expanding...........

you forgot the most important part

they had their 1rst game and DESTROYED new york.  [thumbsup]

if the last 2-3 expansion teams are any indication, it will.
besides, you already have the USL team there so you already have the fan base and the traditions.

hell philly has over 6000 serason ticket deposits and hasn't had a team in ages.

Communicating via an internet forum?  That's got to be a sign of a troubled relationship...Give her a hug, Mother; she just wants to be loved... [laugh] ;)

I was on the olympic development roster in high school but tore up my knee and hip real bad and had to stop that. I was recruited for Division 1 schools but would have had to go through surgery and rehab before I'd be able to play. So I just played club soccer in college. And subsequently broke my leg.

Thanks! The offer goes for you too if you ever feel like coming to this area to see an away game.  [thumbsup]
