Title: DOCV Raffle for Bushfire Appeal
Post by: Betty on March 23, 2009, 03:26:11 AM
Being a bit sneaky (I think) with the pre-release, anybody interested  [roll]

Hmm, an 1198S eh!  :o [evil]

Very much sounds like a win-win.

Probably ;) you would be better off just making a donation anyway  [beer]

True, but the possibility of winning the bike, posting it on ebay as a charity auction, and helping them recoup the money spent on the initial investment would make it worth it to me.

Added as well - more than happy to contribute further to this worthy cause (and potentially win an 1198s)

Just hope that they register the lottery in all states, not just in vic, otherwise a lot of us will purely be making donations.
And hopefully someone's pressuring NFI to donate the bike. Once you take it to their landed cost, it'll no doubt be a healthy donation, but not one out of the question for a large organisation.

I sent off my cheque today. Worst case scenario is I just donated $100 to a worthy cause. Best case scenario is riding away on a new bike.

Sounds like a win/win  [thumbsup]

I think what the Ducati Owners Club of Victoria is going is fantastic and I will be sending off a cheque on Monday.  They should have no trouble selling the 1500 tickets.
