Title: Good price?
Post by: gregrnel on March 24, 2009, 03:21:27 PM
Hey, I have a line on a 2003 red M620ie with 4900 miles, one tiny scratch on the front bumper, chopped stock exhaust (they sound great, but maybe next year I get some Leo Vinces), Ducati front fairing, cover, rear wheel stand, bar end mirrors, 14t sprocket, and bar risers, he's short like me. Runs great, clean title, seems to be in great condition......$4250, whddya think?

Oh and rear fender chop as well...

Sounds like a good deal when you throw in all the misc additions.

I've been wanting Leo Vince pipes too [thumbsup]

Does it have service records and the red key?  You're soon due for the 6k service, and if the belts are original you'd want to get it done now.  Same with the tires, if they're original you should bin 'em.  I'd try to work him down a little, but he's not trying to hose you.

The 600 mile was done, missing one black key, red key is there, tires are good, probably at 60%, I might try to replace the belts myself, but in any case they will be replaced soon. I talked him down from $4500, been looking a while and they are extremely rare in my local market, you almost never see them for sale......or on the road for that matter. MKE=HD if you know what I mean.

Probably pick it up on Saturday, bad news is it's still winter here in MKE for the foreseeable future.... :'(
