(apologies if these are Derbies; I searched by every term I could think of, and "Harley" wasn't going to narrow it down much...)
I find this a much more entertaining use of a HD big twin than making some unrideable theme piece:

OK, so it sounds like the final product might be pretty near unrideable (at least by the owner) but I like the overall look and the obvious obsession that went into it.

And I found it through this through thekneeslider.com, a wonderful site that I landed on while trying to suss out a Vespa resoration project and found a story on large scale restoration shops operating out of Vietnam & elsewhere. The site seems to focus on crazy, motorcycle-ish ideas that just might work. Like this tale of weirdness -- turning a Ducati twin into a blown single by using the vertical cylinder as a blower. Why? Don't know, but it's still kinda cool:

Good articles; I also liked the DesmoHarley. Thanks for sharing. [thumbsup]
With his obsession with weight...
...could the first guy be TAftonomous' father?
But yeah, great articles.

That one's a derby.
I was just amazed by the fact that he got more power out of one supercharged cylinder than the motor originally put out on both cylinders. [thumbsup]
