I'm really starting to fall for this bike, maybe enough to think about giving up one of my current bikes. Unlike some Guzzi models that can sit on the showroom floor for a long time, I doubt I'll be able to find a good deal on a leftover one of these.

Here is a video walk around of the Griso SE. Warning, you may want to mute your speakers.

I know you warned me, but that music was HORRIBLE!!!!
I really like those bikes. I'd love to hear one with a loud Termi exhaust and open intake tract. Guess there's not too much you can do to lighten one up.
I think you ought to have one. [thumbsup]
LA
Jeezus Christ, what was that horrible noise!!!??
I'm right there with you. I've been in love with that bike since the first time I saw it, but I'd have to change that god awful pipe.
Idk-you know how some pictures don't do a bike justice? I swear it's almost opposite with the Griso.
I had drooled at them online for a good long while. I went to the dealer specifically with the plan of buying one, only upon seeing it in person, was immediately turned off. Just....did not look good to me in person.
I ended up coming out with the S4R.
What's under those 'wing' panels next to the tank?
'Cause if those could come off, and something more in lines with the tank substituted, I think it'd look cool.
Man, that's a big motor.
I sell a ZARD slip-on for this bike - it makes them sound a lot better for sure [thumbsup]
I think it is a cool bike!
I like it too! :)

Not my cup of tea...
I would fancy a Moto Morini Corsaro 1200 Veloce anytime.. [moto]
Thats the Monster Ducati should have built.

The Guzzi looks like an ships engine on wheels...
I feel you dog! I too am drooling over that bike. I love the transverse mounted V-twin with shaft drive. Nothing like it for a smooth ride. Back in the '70s a friend had an 850 Eldorado, the "Jesus Bike," I had a Honda CX500, both transverse v-twins with shaft drive. I might be talking myself into a ride by the local Guzzi dealer....

Yeah..... I really like the Griso too..... never owned a Guzzi, but always intended to have one...... there was always a reason to end up riding something else. I really like that sideways twitch [moto] from the torque reaction when you blip the throttle... do I need to see a Doctor?

I like the sound of this Griso with a Termi exhaust.

I have lusted after the Griso since I saw the first ad in 2003 long before the bike was available. I'd still like to have one but don't want to give up one of my other bikes to make room.

I heard one locally with a Remus pipe (IIRC). Sounded nice and looked MUCH better.

I like the green with the brown leather seat. Classic.

+1 the seat adds a huge appeal to the bike. [thumbsup]
I love it too. I like the orange one in the vid alot.
I haven't been able to stop looking at this bike. It is listed on the UK website. The regular Griso 8V was started selling in Europe last spring and then showed up here in the States by late summer. Hopefully the same thing will happen with this SE. Here is another view I hadn't seen before:

I'm looking at this thing and I think [thumbsup] Some clip-ons bar-end mirrors and a lowering bracket fabbed up for the intrusment cluster.... better yet one of those tiny digital jobbies, and this would be an uber-cool bike. Of course that is including the obligatory performance mods. [evil]
*edit, or you could just go all out bad azz like the one at top..... Jeff?? What Griso? Is that one of those pictures you have to unfocus your eyes to see the bike?
Griso = fat, old, moves like a tree in the water
Corsare = agile, sexy, fresh like the wind in the Dolomities
Deep in your heart, you guys are all Harley riders [laugh]

"fresh like the wind in the Dolomities"??? That is not something I hear often to describe a motorcycle [laugh]. The Corsare does look like a cool bike, but it aren't sold in the U.S. I enjoyed this writeup of the Corsare. http://www.motorcycle.com/manufacturer/2008-moto-morini-corsaro-review-85080.html (http://www.motorcycle.com/manufacturer/2008-moto-morini-corsaro-review-85080.html) Here is one of the Griso 8V. http://www.motorcycle.com/manufacturer/2008-moto-guzzi-griso-8v-68608.html (http://www.motorcycle.com/manufacturer/2008-moto-guzzi-griso-8v-68608.html)
You guessed right. I'd be looking at the Griso SE as a Harley replacement.
Scheisse...
This is where the joke becomes reality...again.
Ok...cool...if they only sell Guzzi in the states that's what you should get.
I would never get into the idea to get a Ducati without a dedicated dealer around the corner.
What about Benellli ? Bimota ? Anyone doing that over there ?
I am not thinking of getting another monster...not with the 696/1100 design being reality.
But the TNT could really be my next bike...Guzzi is like BMW...I think about that when I am in the 40s

How in Gawds name is the M1100-696 off the table but the TNT has exceptable styling for you? [puke] [bang] ???
That Corsiar that you showed on the other hand is definitely cool though in need of some new exhaust to trim up the tail section.
There is a Guzzi dealer in San Luis Obispo. They've been there about 6 or 8 months. They have most or all of the new models, but I don't think they've sold even one yet. Might swing you a good deal if you are having trouble finding one. San Luis Obispo, CA. They also sell Vespa's, their bread and butter.

Ducati is not the end all be all of motorcycles for all occasions. I love my Ducati, but I'll take a heavier bike when I know I'll be riding for several hours or lots of highway. Besides I'm almost in my 40s.
BMW is a Guzzi, but with saggy tits.

I couldn't find the comic or I would have posted it!

I love how the Grizo looks but I sat on one at the Chicago bike show a couple of years ago and for some reason, it felt like I was sitting on a park bench - I did'nt feel at all integrated into the bike - your butt may vary.
