Yup, that's what is in my 695. Title: Re: ADIGE APTC clutch for S4Rs...good choice? Its similar to the one in the 696 and the sr800/1000 (I know one is wet and others dry...slipper though) and is available for all Ducati's including the 1098. They tout the power torque as well as the slipper function- not sure if that's common to all since I'm a newb. Its my understanding that Ducati was involved in the development of this particular one. Post by: ♣ McKraut ♣ on April 01, 2009, 10:08:16 AM /shrug.... i've always been happy with the regular dry clutch. it's simple enough for even me to work on (drunk), fairly cheap since it's pretty universal for all dry clutch ducatis, and has always treated me well. but i guess if you're looking to beat on it and do some track days, a slipper might be nice...since the dry clutch will lock up your rear if you get crazy with the downshifting. never really been a problem for me.

Yeah my S2R has the wet "slipper." I can rip some pretty heavy downshifts on that thing at the track. I still get some tail wiggle, but it definately helps keep the rear rolling if you get really aggressive on it. The S2R is retired for now though! I'm gonna get rid of her whenever/if we get refinanced for the business. Thumbs up for the clutch though. Its solid. Title: Re: ADIGE APTC clutch for S4Rs...good choice?
