Got one of those vented clutch covers for my S2R 800 looks really cool but have now developed a major oil leak, any suggestions?
Can you tell us from where? In side the clutch housing, from the side case? Any photos?
If this is serious (and yes I know this is April fools)
I cant do it, this cant be serious [laugh]
That's normal when adding an open clutch cover on an s2r800.
Just run the engine at high rpm until it stops coming out. That should take care of it. [thumbsup]
grr. stupid s2r800..
/kicks self.
I didn't have that problem with my M750CR... maybe I did something wrong. Huh...
the leak is normal, once it breaks in, you're shiny.
[thumbsup]
haha, [roll] i'm sure it fit.
I had no issues running mine with the open cover. It added about 20 extra HP and I was able to run it at 160mph no problem. I passed Randall on his 620 with Paris riding pregnant dog.
I thought my S2R was one of those oilless bikes.
I know what you missed [bang]. Use the little rubber seal gasket from your standard clutch cover. Then it will have a tight seal. If not, apply caulk liberally and off you go! [moto]

any suggestions?
Take only left turns and always keep the bike leaned over to the left. You'll be fine.
