Got married and got my first really good job and the next five years to 30 were some of my most productive ........ well, relatively speaking anyway.

Great good times, but watch out, the next 25 years rip by as compared to the first 25.

Ass me how I know. ;D ;D ;D

Well... Varies, BUT, here's my FHE.  I have a '08 Impala, '02 Dakota (V8, 4x4 = $$$ to insure, it's higher than the Impala) with full coverage, a '97 Taurus, '00 Ducati Supersport 900, and a '99 Monster 750 insured for about $100/month.  I'm 31.  My fiancée is 23.  She was paying just over $100/month to insure a '04 Malibu.  There's an example of the difference.

My insurance went from 190 a month for bike and car to 40 bucks a month for both.  I switched to State Farm and got better coverage for less. [thumbsup]

I actually start a new job as a staff accountant for State Auto insurance here in Columbus so we will see if it drops anymore becuase of my employee discount.

Thank you everyone for the well wishes.  For those of you old enough to reach this mile stone but still young enough to remember, did it feel like you rounded the corner into adulthood when you turned 25?  I'm not ready to be old and boring yet.  I still want to go out, get drunk, and lie to women. "Of course I'm a pilot!"

Thanks again and keep the rubber down.  [thumbsup]

Actually, when you get past a certain age, insurance rates start rising again.

That heads-up came from my agent.    :(

Kind-of a milestone...in that I quit looking for milestones and just enjoyed being whatever 'number of years on the planet' and acted roughly 24-27 years old all the time.  Not quite a juvinile 18 years old...but not fully 'old and responsible' either.  Hell, I hoisted a nice 2nd-to-3rd gear wheelie this afternoon on my M900 and I'm 36.  Old *is* a state of mind... Enjoy the trip man.

We're here for a good while, but not necessarily a long while...

Happy Birthday man. Just remember. " The wind blew, the cat flew, we're only here for a day or two." Life goes faster the older you get.

Seems like yesterday I was 25 and this summer I'll be 60 !     Dolph    :o

I'm 23, and I thought "when I hit 25 I'll save a bundle on insurance".

Then I talked to my insurance company, who have a monopoly on moto insurance in this province (New Brunswick), and it turns out that they only offer the discount to someone who has been riding for more than 9 years.

So I won't get the discount till I turn 27. Bastards.

Anyway, happy b-day.
