Title: Tail Chop Frame Plugs. Cool Alternatives? Fancy Aftermarket Stuff? Post by: corey on April 02, 2009, 10:55:21 AM Hey guys.
The plugs that came with my comp-werks kit don't quite fit my frame for some reason, so I'm left looking elsewhere. Anyone have any suggestions for something cool that fits? Photos are always welcome as well. Title: Re: Tail Chop Frame Plugs. Cool Alternatives? Fancy Aftermarket Stuff? Post by: bdfinally on April 02, 2009, 11:05:40 AM I just went to Lowe's

Post by: junior varsity on April 02, 2009, 06:48:15 PM I have the desmorados/desmoworld ones shown above in StopInTime's post, but in Gold Billet. And my tail is chopped. They look great installed.
However, empty 20ga shotgun shells would look pretty bad ass. Title: Re: Tail Chop Frame Plugs. Cool Alternatives? Fancy Aftermarket Stuff? Post by: erichan8757 on October 27, 2009, 02:00:16 PM Where can I buy the tail frame plug?

Basically you will have to transfer money up front. Title: Re: Tail Chop Frame Plugs. Cool Alternatives? Fancy Aftermarket Stuff? Post by: grunte on October 28, 2009, 08:44:03 AM I found these:

You might want to clear coat them. Mine are oxidizing a bit. The shells I used are brass plated steel (when did they change that?) and there is a dissimilar metal issue going on. I like them a lot though. One of the board sponsors, MotoCreations, has some kick ass frame plugs. If I ever get rid of the shells, I'll buy his. <edit> OOP's I can't find frame plugs on his web site. I know we talked about his designs and he sent me some pics, but I don't see them. Paging Mark to this thread...... Title: Re: Tail Chop Frame Plugs. Cool Alternatives? Fancy Aftermarket Stuff?
