I should have no problem being up to speed for the run. The difference between my old Nighthawk and this beauty in handling is astounding. Curves that were always a challenge and uncomfortable were effortless - what great fun! Looking forward to meeting you people there.

Lots of bikes, with even more harleys. WarrenJ, did you happen to see a yellow monster similar to the one you posted, but with no front fender, clip ons and under engine exhaust? There is a pic of my 750 Monster on the Intro thread - it has a unique tank paint job. The ride was a good experience for me. It was the farthest I have ever went on a motorcycle, through new country and roads and numerous new situations. Making it through the trip without any major mishaps was a great confidence booster.
