Hey everybody! Check out the April issue of City Bike. Why? Welp, inside you'll find a review of "Troy's Story" by Mostrobelle. Lemme tell ya, I think it's the best article in the whole issue. [thumbsup]
Way to go Belle!
I'll pick up a copy at MotoJava tomorrow.
Nice!
Is that the "Troy's Story" by Ewan McGregor?
I just saw that. kewl. I'll read it. I bet I'll agree that I really really really want Ewan McGregor to make the damned sequel already!
The frackin story wasn't finished when he made it!

Congrats to MB! I'll have to check out a copy :)
Good job Belle! A good read.
ya nice read. My sentiments exactly.
Get on the sequel Ewan! It was just getting good!
The best line was about Ewan being the 'official motorcycle film maker' from now on [laugh]
Thanks, guys. <blush....>
Yeah, Evan liked the part about Ewan being the voice of all m/c flicks from now on, too. [laugh]
Looks like I have another gig with them. They've asked me to write another couple of articles. :)
I haven't read it yet, but congrats, H. I know you enjoy chronicling some of the daily joys that we all love about motorcycling, but don't find the time to put into words. It's awesome that you have an outlet to share your stories with others that isn't just the interwebz. [thumbsup]
I told you. I told YOU. I TOLD YOU!!!
I knew if you kept it up soul-sista that you would be writin' for some high-falutin' moto-rag in no-time flat. You missed yer callin' Belle...
seriously, congrats! [wine]
Very kewl! [thumbsup]
Nice! [beer]
Congrats.. So is this a hobby or a career change???

Hobby. A friend recommended me to sort of help fill in for him and they asked for a sample and ran with it. I guess they're looking for female perspectives on riding and liked my attitude, riding experience and p.o.v. I have four story topics coming up and possible product reviews (they give me boots, I write about them, etc.) I'm looking forward to it. The only thing is that I can't post up here what I write about there. Some stuff is only good for the 'net and other things are better in the paper.
thanks all. :)

Do they have a website that you can link to? I'm happy to pick up the paper (I don't read it regularly), but it'd be easier online.
I'll check... been sorta swamped today with work and moddin' teh BARF. :P

Blech. I feel your pain, mang. Modding can be a full-time job.

I'll do a more exhaustive search in a bit...
Yes, the modding has been an interesting experience. So far no death threats. [cheeky]

Congrats on the article! The female moto rider perspective is definitely lacking in most moto-related rags, so props to City Bike as well. [thumbsup]
Congrats. Ive been enjoying your writing for some time now. ;D
Your account of the irate guy in the Buick got me to writing a story about a Supervisor that works at the Harrison Street P.O. He hates motorcyclists, and is on the verge of a breakdown. At some point he has an encounter with rude motorcylist while trying to get on the bridge but I'm not there yet.
My girlfriend and I read the article a few days ago over some pizza and beer at Lanesplitter.
Congratulations on getting some more spots in City Bike. We'll keep our eyes out for them.
I'll pick up my copy & frame the article [thumbsup] congratz to the belle!

That's Mike Solis' arena, and he's actually the one who got my foot in the door for CityBike (mind you, this was to take the pressure off of him while he finishes his degree.) I get plenty of special treatment because of him at the AFM races already. He's now the main announcer for AFM--he's Fosgate's replacement.
