You will have to go by measurment rather than application but the wheel bearings are standard sizes. Actually I was thinking there was a good chance I'd go that route anyway just because availiblity tends to be hit or miss anyway. I was gonna look into the dealership first because I'm not sure the exact diminsions and don't have one to measure...... hold on I'm gonna call Chris, he'll have one he can measure!! I have to say though, I will probably always buy Arai....the other helmets I have owned just have not been as comfortable. Also, whenever I try on a new helmet, they just dont have that good old comfy feel my old helmet has (but they do have the new car smell!). I have never owned a Shark, but they seem to be rather popular.

A lot of helmets smoosh my ears, and the face bar tends to be really close to my chin which I find uncomfortable. The Shark sems to have larger or better shaped ear cups and I don't run my chin into the face bar when I talk to myself. :P I've heard the ventalation works well in them as well, we shall see if I ever figure out the cycle, maybe I'll go for a ride with my head out the sun roof to try it out. ;)

Other than inventorying the damage and what will be needed to replace/ fix it. I'll do it tonight after my daughter goes to bed. It will only take a couple hours, I've made a list of parts but I'll pull what I need off Ducmouses bike for now, then when the order comes in I'll reassemble Trent. The bike is really not damaged that badly from a mechanical or even cosmetic POV. The dealership and insurance takes longer because they are returning it to "like new" condition. My work is a little more practical for a woman who logs the kind of miles she does. Mechanically it will be aces, cosmetically it will be good, but not "like new". Of course her priority is ride time, and you and I both know she hurts when the bike isn't there. There maybe a part or two that will be replaced later down the road to keep it shiny but she'll be able to ride till then. BTW, you're now (besides Bonfy) the first to know that I'll soon be joining the NMMR..... it looks like the wife and I are going to be moving back to Alb. before year end. Start telling PJ's about the awesome guy you know from CO..... I'm thinking of trying to get on in the shop there. [thumbsup]

OLD BIKE RIDE 7 ! this is an annual ride that starts in the Denver area (golden this year), goes up lookout mountain, then traverses thru Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park, thru Nederland and onto some tasty eatin' at the Millsite Inn in Ward. After that we make our way into Boulder and up Flagstaff Mountain. Following the ride, we head back to the starting point and drink some beers! Best thing about the ride... ALL VINTAGE... if you like old Laverdas and Beemers, guzzis and nortons, or 1920-something Excelsior Hendersons or timeless classics like the Honda CB bikes... you'll dig this video...
