That.... Is friggin awesome!! Were I a wealthy person, I'd order one with track bodywork and use it as a short track bike. It'd be perfect!!
That's pretty sexy.
And dangerous. 88hp and just under 300 pounds.
Damn.
Want.
That would be fun. :)
[thumbsup]
I hate that this exists and I cannot afford it :'(
I want, nay DESERVE, a 70+ HP, sub 300lbs sport bike. Preferably a single.
The life of poor people [bang]
maybe this will encourage ducati to build the supermono replacement at a REASONABLE price
i was all excited.
then i saw it.
I'm not digging the headlights at all.
I'm thinking tho that if you had the time money and inclination and the skills and vision. And there are a few folks on here who obvously do.
You could build yourself a supermono for a fair bit less than $52000.
Holy sh#t!!! That is so cool!! If the economy wasn't so screwed up I'd run out and get a home equity loan for $52K!! [laugh] I can't even imagine how much fun that would be to ride. [moto] I wish Roland Sands would make one of his 450cc ex-MX bike road racers into something like this. Makes me wish I still had my '78 Yammyhammer SR500. [thumbsup]
Cool that they put Testastretta heads on it..
How can the ruin such a beautiful bike with those headlights!!!!

I think the only way you're going to get that is going Supermoto. (which is why I just ordered an SXV 550)
MUST have one... but I want mine with a SSS of course! (I know I can build it myself -- but my personal stuff never gets finished due to customer projects always interfering)
Headlights got to go,the rest? AWESOME!!!
Ducati still holds the original Supermono in high esteem. It's got a pretty prominent place in their museum in Bologna.

I don't think I'd ever be in the market for a Supermono-like bike, but it's cool nonetheless. [thumbsup]
well.
I gotta change my shorts.
