Title: Broken Mirror base Post by: adpeacock on April 06, 2009, 05:45:32 PM I bought my 620 a couple of years ago from a friend, and before I bought it they broke the base of the mirror off in the stock location. Does anyone know how to get it out, or should I go to a NAPA place and get a drill bit to drill it out? Everyone who goes to this site is amazing, thanks

Watch out cause the right mirror has left-handed threads, so if you want to drill it out and run a tap through, you'll have to track down a left-handed tap! [bang] Title: Re: Broken Mirror base Post by: Howie on April 07, 2009, 03:40:30 AM A photo or a better description would be helpful.

A dremel and a steady hand are your Friends. pics would help alot Title: Re: Broken Mirror base Post by: corey on April 07, 2009, 05:56:19 AM sounds like someone didn't KNOW it was a left-handed thread, and make the beast with two backsin snapped it off in there.
i almost did it too. Title: Re: Broken Mirror base Post by: adpeacock on April 07, 2009, 12:31:01 PM Thanks for the advice everyone. I will definitely post pictures of it tonight! Thanks for everything again.
