For those of you who have been following Sly's newest film The Expendables, there have been two more big names added to the already insane list of actors in this movie: the Nogueira Brothers and Lyoto Machida - some of the biggest names ini mixed martial arts.
Already officially signed on include: Dolph Lundgren, Jet Li, Jason Statham, Randy Couture, Steve Austin, Mickey Rourke, Charisma Carpenter, Eric Roberts, Terry Crews, and of course Stallone.
:o
With that many big names, the budget for this movie must be outrageous!!!
So who else is excited as hell to see this movie this weekend. I think it is going to be awesome.
Saw this on Yahoo and had to post it.
Dolph Lundgren has a master's degree in chemical engineering, was a Fulbright scholar at M.I.T., speaks seven languages, was an elite marine ranger in the Swedish military, and is a third degree black belt in Kyokushin karate.
Never would have thought this guy was that smart. Pretty crazy.
I'll wait till it's the movie of the week on TV. :D

a third degree black belt in Kyokushin karate.
My understanding is that he was big in the full-contact karate tourneys back in the day (http://homegame.org/HG/spotlight/dolph/)... my instructor claims to have fought him, but I never did find any records on the internets to prove it.
im pumped for it...

That movie is getting unbelievable reviews. I'll probably being seeing both sometime in the next few days.
Expendables is tomorrow morning a 9 am. We finally figured out if you go at this time you don't have "people" talking during the movie.
We're going to see The Expendables this Saturday. Just getting to see those guys all together on the same screen is worth the ticket!

^^All that info came out after Rocky 4.
BTW..how was Scott P vs World?
You all missed the most important part of this move.
Jason Statham Rides a desmosedici!! in the movie.
Not only does he ride it but he kicks ass while doing so.

Just got outta the theatre: BEST TOTAL-CHEESEBALL MOVIE!!! You literally couldn't have put more bullet or explosions in it. Huge holes in the plot, time line all screwed up, physical impossibilities galore... Great mindless entertainment. [thumbsup]

I saw it last night. Yep, your assessment is on the money. There was plenty of broken bones, necks, and limbs as well. Only once Stallone runs out of ammo and then magically he gets some more! Arnold cameo is great.
I loved it. MANLIEST movie ever!!! And of course Ducati is in it!

i tried that one time and have found that i prefer a few people talking over a few babies crying... i mean who brings a baby to an action movie anyways.
figure it must be a HD rider with a baby seat on the back of the sissy bars. [evil]
It was alright. Would've been better if they had better camera work for the action sequences.
Can't believe JCVD turned down the offer to be in it?!
