Title: Advice ,hard to steer.
Post by: duc996 on April 07, 2009, 07:59:01 PM
Need an advice on my s4r,i've noticed that my steering was a little bit stiff during turns,it feels like it's pulling me away every time i make a turn. Now one friend said that maybe i need to get new front tire already, ive noticed that the sides of the front tire is worn out a bit but still has some thread. If you look at the tire from the front it has that pointy looking shape.

Can it really stiffen up the steering if you have that kind of tire ?hope i explained it clearly enough for you guys. Thanks in advance.

How old is the front tire, and how much wear? How is the back tire? Does the bike resist starting the turn, and then fall in? Or does it track well once it turns, but has trouble initiating the turn?

If your front tire is pointed the bike will handle like crap.  Get new tires.
