Title: What is the bolt spacing of the front brake calipers of the 696?

I would like to upgrade the the front calipers and was hoping for some help.

Why do you want to upgrade those calipers?  They're 4 piston radial calipers, like on the 1100.  I'd just change out the master cylinder and pads and VOILA!! a whole new braking system.

Sorry, I guess I didn't answer your question.  I dunno what the caliper spacing is.  I think it's 100mm but can't be sure.

I have a chance to pick up a sweet pair of Beringer Calipers dirt cheap, but want to make sure they will fit.  I already have the Beringer MC and the thing rocks.
Thanks for the reply.

That's a pretty good reason.   ;D  I had a big ole 6-piston Beringer caliper on a 'tard of mine.  It was awesome.

Again, I *think* the standard spacing is 100mm.  It's 108mm if you have special Ohlins fork bottoms.  But don't buy based on that information.  I'm not certain enough.
