6pm - Meet up @ The Liberty
7:30pm - Leave 4 ride thru Chicago's underbelly. All riders will get a map/description of the ride incase of seperation from the main pack.
? - End up @ Cobra Lounge for $2.50 PBR Tall Boys, Rock N' Roll, Grub, $4 Jamesons, and whatever else you might feel like doing.
CEALEDKASKET plays @ 10pm

How underbelly are we talking here?  The furhter under the better!  Think some of us COWs will be down for a cruise, still haven't been to ny HF-C events, and dying to show up.

I've been stuck out in DeKalb/Sycamore all week.  This place sucks.

We are doing a dry run of the prosed ride tonight so I will have to get back to ya.
Prob. a spin down Lake Shore Drive, end up going thru Lower Wacker, and then up to 290 to end up back @ Cobra Lounge. Not going to be super long, but def. something cool if you are not fimilar with the city..

**UPDATE**
The dry run of the ride went off great (except one of the guys picked up a nail in his rear tire on Lower Wacker [bang]). Besides that the ride took about 35-40 min to get back to Cobra, so it should be a good time with a bunch of riders.

I will also be partaking in said awesomeness of the 1st annual Chicago Shakedown. Should be a hella good time. I'm ready to hear some pipes rumble!

Their are tonns of hotels/motels around the area.
Some even have ground floor rooms where you can wheel your bike right into the room..

The weather seems to be getting slightly better as the event approaches.
Before it was rain all day and now it's just scattered showers.... [thumbsup]

I hear ya, I keep checking the weather, and 40% chance of storms isn't so bad.  We'll be leaving Milwaukee at 2:30PM tomorrow.  Where are some good spots to chill for a PBR or Perroni before the event?

Kuma's has one of the city's best selection of beers, killer food, very attractive wait staff, etc. If you go look for the Half Fast Chicago skateboard up by the TV above the bar  [thumbsup]

Good deal, think we might hit up Kumas for burgers.  We've got a ridic place up here for burgers.  When ya'll swing up for RockerBox we'll all go to Cafe Lulu and grub some of theirs.  Battle of the Burgers.  Done.

Thanks for dealing with the weather and riding down. Glad you got home in one piece.
