Good find.  Do you think it's true about the handle bars being too wide?  In that article the guy was talking about his wrists... Is it that bad you think?  I know how some internet writers are similar to the media where they make a mountain out of a molehill, so it makes you wonder.  I just purchased the 1100 S but can't ride it for a little while so I am curious.

 It's all relative, if he likes crotch rockets, they are wide, if his daily driver says HD on it , then they are narrow.

They're wide compared to clip-ons, BUT if you want to know what wide bars are, go sit on a Triumph Scrambler...

I had a test ride on an 1100S and didn't notice anything odd about the handlebars at all (coming from a 696). I'm 5' 6", btw.
