Title: RUST
Post by: Clickjack on April 11, 2009, 11:00:58 AM
Where do you guys see Rust turning up, and what do you do to prevent it?

I've had my S4R T since Sep, and I keep it Garaged.  But yesterday when i was cleaning it up, I was noticing that I was getting some rust on the brake disc, where it is attached to the wheel.

Inside of rear axle. Hardware on engine - a few of the bolt ends.
I sanded what I could and sprayed a really light coat of WD40 on the stuff I was worried about. I garage my bike, and it's only been rained on a couple of times, but apparently that was enough. Plus it's always humid here. Life in the Swamp that is south Louisiana.
