Just a quick question? how much do you pay for your insurance?
ON my 2001 600 DARk it was $7 a month for full, with the multi car discount
and on my 01 S4 it was 29 a month. But now i have to add a claim so who know....
I pay $218 for my 2004 Honda VFR. Liabiity and collision. Deductible is $500. Geico.
after a horrible experience after laying my monster (RIP) down in AR last month, i will never again be a Progressive customer. of course your experience may be different, but i also totaled a car last year (drunk driver hit me) and had progressive for that, too...and it was nothing short of a ridiculously bad experience. also, progressive only comes with $1000 of total coverage for gear and parts/accessories (at least that's what was standard on my texas policy when i started it last year on the monster). so i wasn't compensated for any of my thrashed gear, and maxed out the $1k with the parts and accessories very quickly (which i'm sure they'll be able to sell).
FWIW a lot of people in DFW area have said great things about Dairlyand; that's who i went with for my 900SS; i think it ended up being like $850 a year or something for full coverage. though, Monsters were rated MUCH lower for insurance (like $200 for full coverage for my 750 if they wouldn't have totaled it). i also got a quote from Esurance (they have an underwriter for their motorcycle department) and they had some seriously low rates, at least on the bikes i was checking on. no experience with them, but might be worth checking out. both dairyland and esurance i seem to remember come with pretty nice levels of coverage standard for your gear and parts/accessories.
i'm male, single, 28, and have a couple speeding tickets on my record, if that helps.
Mine is $55/mth in Progressive for my '02 620. I don't have a car not accident record so far
Just curious to see how much everybody else pays?? :-\
Riders in NJ for the 2007 S2R1K they quoted me 460 full coverage or 150 liab only.

American Family.
Ive got my Dodge dokota, the BIke and renters insurance with them. "had" a clean record. So will see what happens in a couple months.
I guess for some reason they dont concider a Monster a sport bike. Even though my S4 would beat my freinds 750 GSXR to 80-100mph
Thanks. I may have to look into them if I move soon. I have state farm and while it's not expensive, it's not quite as cheap as yours. I'm over 25, married, clean record and according to Chaos I have a vagina. I think that last one will be news to my wife.

Dont know if i would say i was im lucky to live here. The roads are straight and boring.
Im 22 male, clean record and single.
Progressive - $293 per year for my S2R1k and my wife's Ninja 250
Liability & collision, $3000 for accessories
(4 years no claims , 1 ticket)
I pay way to much
about $700 a year with very high end coverage for a 05 S4R. Both Geico and Progressive have very similar rates for me :-\
You guys with high rates should try and find a private insurance agent. They use the big companies, but do all the leg work, so are able to offer the same coverage at lower rates. Through my agent, i was able to get insured with Progressive for $438 a year for full coverage, including comprehensive, collision, and even $3000 worth of accessories protection to buy new gear and framesliders with if i ever go down. The same coverage through Progressive WITHOUT using my agent was literally double, at about $915 bucks.
I have Dairlyand - I pay $864.00/year for my Ducati and CBR600RR
For my Duc - I have comprehensive collision. The Honda is a different story - I opt'ed not to get comprehensive collision because every insurance agency wanted a couple hundred $$ a month I figured for that amount I could buy a new motorcycle every four years.

In CA they still do. I just added a 2008 R6, full coverage, high limits, 1000/500 deductible, $60/year/so cal.
Bend, OR (actually probably still listed as Spokane, WA now that I think about it) -> State Farm, $24 a month for full coverage on my S2R800. I have a multi discount tho (02 Honda Accord SE Cpe, Renters Insurance, and now my bike all for $134 a month). 38 yrs old, no current tickets but one accident back in Dec when a girl couldn't stop at a light and hit me at an intersection...
