Title: replacing fuel sender
Post by: Bones on April 13, 2009, 02:08:36 PM
OK, so i had another tank apart last month, but now I don't remember the answer to my own question, so I need to ask you guys.

I need to replace the fuel sender on my M620 and I'm thinking all I need to do is drain the tank, unscrew the sender form the base, disconnect the plug and install new sender.

it looks like the wire is long enough on the sender to accommodate this.

Is this right?

I REALLY, REALLY don't want to go in through the top!

Thanks in advance!

You still have to disconnect it from the fuel pump if its a FI bike. Unless you have really skinny arms and hands you have to go in through the top to disconnect and reconnect it.
