I can't believe I missed this. Two guys got in an argument, one grabbed a sword. The other "brandished" a sword (meaning, he, too, grabbed a sword, possibly off the wall?) and proceeded to engage in swordplay.
Then an ol' lady jumped in the middle and got stuck. She died in the hospital, but possibly not from being skewered, but from a heartattack. Nuts.

Basically, the west side of Indy is entirely populated by aging hesher metalheads, former auto factory workers and sci-fi nerds - often in the same body. A typical day consists of drinking too much cheap beer, customizing something usesless in your garage, f*cking with someone in a public park for no good reason, and quite possibly being dealt with more harshly than you expected.
