I rode one...at Ocala demo day last saturday morning..
Oh yeah nice, quick, great bike, would have been a crowd pleaser at pub (bar) but not for my 200 + mile saturday mornings..
So there saved money and heart ache...thanx Ducati....
1 redneck, 4 beers, and a bandsaw = more mods to S2R1000
What was it you didn't like?

Is this a complaint about the tank size? That's so 2008.... :)

Around town (esp. commuting) and on shorter rides, I think a Hyper would be a blast. That said, I think that narrow little seat would kill my ass if I had to ride it for more than an hour or so.
Anybody in MN got one that I can use for an extended test ride? I need to verify my theory. [evil] ;D

*insert famous one-liner*
Wow!! Can't for the review!! !! !! !! !! !!
;D
Allow me to clarify.....
Being able to only have 1 bike the Monster fills the bill...
If I could own more there would be a Hyper in the stable....Fun to ride
It was just like riding a CR250
It is cool how narrow it feels and is...
Felt like I was bolt upright and the handle bars in the chest,,, exaggerated
If you have never been to a demo day you gotta go...

Fixed it.
The Monster is a very difficult bike to beat for daily commuting & weekend ;D riding. The Hyper would be tough on longer rides. My M750 has seen plenty of 6+ hours days of riding. I think the Hyper would get brutal after about three hours. That being said... Do I planning on visiting my local dealer's Hyper Motard demo day? Hell Yes! [evil]

i rode the hyper today, the 696 was in for service, had it for maybe an hour of riding. it was fun, very dirt bike riding style. fast too. though, honestly i think my 696 is louder (both have termis) kind of weird
I *know* my M750 is louder... modified Termi's anyone? [laugh] I'm just thinking about how in awe I was at the difference in power & throttle response between my M750 and my 900SS and wondering what kind of devilish creation the Hypermotad is [laugh]

+1
The HM is one of the few newer Ducks that I lust after (now that they've ruined the Monster [cheeky] ).
i did notice engine breaking was way harder on the Hyper, the front just dove the first time i did it, with the usual (696) clutch release. it kinda freaked me out. it very responsive. its really a monster. i didn't have an opportunity to open her up, but i could sense it if you know what i mean, it was hungry for speed
