Title: 1098 wheels on a S2R 800
Post by: Ontario_Monster on April 17, 2009, 09:50:01 AM
Anyone know if the wheels from the 1098 will fit on a S2R 800?  Are they using the same size axel?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers

Completely different axle.  Front won't work either as it's using the 5 bolt rotors w/different offset.

848, hypertard should work.  Hyper S is the only forged aluminum option from OEM ducati.

Why would the 848 wheels work but not the 1098?

The rear axle is different, larger on the 1098.

Thanks, actually I'm looking for wheels with the 5 bolt pattern as I've purchased an S4Rs full frontend.  Probably have to see if I can find S4R wheels then.

Cheers everyone and thanks for the responses.

Ya know I've got this forged front marchesini that will bolt up :)

I also have a set of s4rs/t wheels (same same) too.  Hell, I've even got a set of pilot powers w/500 miles on them, can set you up :D
