Title: Re: M1100 Luggage from Givi Post by: Raux on April 17, 2009, 09:46:34 AM Holy crap, look at that tail case! oh btw. reason i emailed them is that the giviusa site doesn't list the 696/1100. i didn't find out the italian site did til later. Title: Re: M1100 Luggage from Givi Post by: gearhead on April 17, 2009, 02:33:14 PM I'd want to see a pic from the rear as with the under seat silencers will make the bike very wide. My VFR suffered the same problem and the the 1100 is even wider at the silencers.

Title: Re: M1100 Luggage from Givi Post by: DucatiTorrey on April 20, 2009, 03:50:47 PM Does the RADAR go in the tail bag (Wow that is TALL) +1 those side bags look good though!!!!! Title: Re: M1100 Luggage from Givi Post by: Maratom on October 09, 2010, 11:14:06 PM Does anyone know if the tailcase can be mounted when you've got the DP short tail ?
With the short tail the turn signal indicators are relocated a little more to the front of the bike so I'm guessing the brackets for the tail case won't fit anymore. but looks like a disaster from the front! Title: Re: M1100 Luggage from Givi Post by: emanon on October 13, 2010, 04:56:37 PM +1 +1those side bags look good though!!!!! Imagine how large the tail case would look if they had not shot it with a white backdrop, I bet in person it looks even bigger than the marketing photos. Title: Re: M1100 Luggage from Givi Post by: sbrguy on October 14, 2010, 11:16:17 AM i don't think i've ever seen a tail bag that ever enhanced the looks of a bike ever. tailbags always look horrible no matter how small they are.
but damn after putting one on the monster, its probably the most convenient and useful add on i have ever put on the bike. Tailbags are awesome for their usefulness for everyday commuting and such. |
